Gankuag was banned in the banfest of January 15th 2010. He had just started playing his character again in the last 2 weeks. He had not even logged on the accounts banned other then gankuags in a year and Gankuag only in the last couple weeks.

He did not use macroquest and asks if anyone else used his account or gave his account info away during his absence (he had not played in about a year)

He had given away one of the toons banned and did not even have the info to access locho anymore.

He spoke to a gm and they told him to get the IP addresses of those who had his info. 2 of which were banned for using macroquest Maelin/Sabota so if anyone knows their ip addresses or if said individuals would like to share please send me a PM.

Also, if anyone was given access to gankuag and has logged him on in the last few months please send me your ip address. I have already contacted a couple of his friends for theirs. So if you have access to his toon or know of other people banned or not that was given access to his toon during his absence please send me a tell in game. I play arieanna/ghaellie and rovan/toudles is my boyfriend and can easily pass along the info.

The gm's were able to track Macro quest usage from over a year ago so you stating he hadn't played in over a year is moot.
 
The last time I ever saw the real Gank online was end of October maybe beginning of November. He's been gone after graduation working with his father traveling the country. Also knowing him for years I would seriously doubt he ever cheated. Matter of fact it would be very suprising if it was proven it was him. I have however seen Maelin and Sabo both play his toons. Both of which have been verified as macroquest users. It's a shame he got caught up in the crossfire. It's one thing to shit up your own toon but to do it to someone elses is pretty crappy.

Ghae is basically his real life sister so if anyone is going to know he was really cheating it would be her for sure.

He logged on once or twice and said he was coming back in january and probably discussed it yes.

And the bannings said that they have been in the last few months testing for that and not a year. If it was a year why didnt they ban him in the last ban fest? That sounds off to me. And how do you know that? Honestly nothing is invulnerable no matter what you say. As i recall the last time people were banned they unbanned people because of mistakes. Things happen. Were doing what we can to figure out what is going on.

Aisling It definately wasnt a few months ago b/c he didnt have access to a computer then he logged in once or twice in november and moved again in december and got access to net again in january. But he wasnt actively playing which was the point. And if you talk to him you should know that hes been gone 1 conversation speaking of future raiding hardly makes him guilty and strays from the point.

This thread isnt for protesting his innocence.

I posted this thread asking for anyones ip address who had access to him/used him. So that we can do this through the proper channels. Not flame it out in the forums. Mistakes are made. Other people could have used his toons. Whether you believe or not is your problem. And not the point.

This isnt a personal slight on any gm to be taken up in arms about. This isnt a accusation towards anyone. I merely pointed out that people who were banned had access to his toon and that would be a logical conclusion. Also one of the toons wasnt his anymore. If only that toon was macro questing and all of his accounts were banned that would explain alot as well. If we get the ip addresses of them and others who had access and did not macro quest then we can sort this out more quickly.

He did not use macroquest. We are going through the proper channels. I am making no accusations. I would appreciate the common consideration im giving to everyone else.
 
I had access to gank for over a year. Id love to give you the ip i was using at the time, but i change mine on a weekly basis. He definitely never used macroquest, his computer is a big pile of shit, it took him 8 years to zone, and i can tell you hed never be able to even open the MQ map without being disconnected.

If any gms care, i will whole heartedly take the blame on that one, anyone guilded with him in numi back then knows he was clean.

I'm not saying guilt or innocence or anything of the sort. I was more curious if that was in fact actually gank, because I own the vent server and am pretty sure it keeps iplogs.
 
Yea Gank was a good guy that highly doubt was using MQ2. Poor dude zoned slower then dirt and true on that MQ2 map would have killed him every time he tried to view it or hell any time he would have do a /who
Strange that you claim you hasnt played in over a year however as I remember kicking it with him just a few months back.
 
No way he used it. Totally stand up guy. I had his info as well, only used him like twice since he left and that was just for trying to farm a ToLL, which i gave up on cause I hate time sinks.

Whoever appd for TU and didnt have a mic, wasnt him. Probably Locho, the little tard. Gank has always had a mic, just not the most talkative guy on vent.

Basically. Gankuag was banned for MQ this 2010 banfest that recently occured and most of us who posted know that gank is a good guy and pretty straight edge. So they are trying to find out who had access to gank and their IPs to trace and find out who used his toon with MQ and possibly clear his name.
Concidering how shitty his own computer is, i find it hard to believe he would even bother with MQ but we wont know till we find the neccessary info.
