Game running horrible

Can you verify if there is a global6_chr.s3d in your Shards directory?

Oddly enough I went to find mine and I found my global6_chr.s3d is exactly the same as my global5_chr.s3d and contains global5_chr.wld instead of the 6 version.

I also notice that you timed out with the zone server

Iaelon, Thank you very much for your response!
I checked, there is a global6_chr.s3d in the folder.
So, you noticed she timed out with the server.....what do you think she should do? This happens everytime she zones, gates, or dies...

Going to buy a new router sometime in the next couple days to see if that fixes anything.....

Thank you very much for your response, Kyeld.
I did do that already.
If you have any other ideas, please let me hear them because I'm all out.

Try doing a tracert to the server: 67.205.76.13, check for any huge numbers.:toot: Open up the command prompt and type tracert 67.205.76.13

OK, I will try that when I get home.
Huge numbers are bad, right? I would imagine that the numbers are how long it takes to talk to the server?
Thanks, Kyeld!

Ok, well, I got a new Router, that didn't help the issue.
I did what you said to do, Kyled and ran that Tracert thingie. This is the result:

1. 1ms 1ms 1ms 67.205.76.13
2. * * * Request timed out
3. 10ms 8ms 9ms 68.86.29.113
4. 12ms 15ms 10ms 68.86.208.118
5. 8ms 8ms 8ms 68.86.208.122
6. 9ms 10ms 8ms 68.86.208.78
7. 10ms 12ms 9ms 68.86.208.82
8. 11ms 13ms 8ms 68.86.200.86
9. 10ms 12ms 10ms 68.86.208.90
10. 11ms 8ms 9ms 68.86.208.94
11. 10ms 11ms 9ms 68.86.208.98
12. 12ms 9ms 11ms 68.86.208.34
13. 16ms 13ms 16ms 68.86.90.10
14. 12ms 11ms 11ms 68.86.90.9
15. 18ms 17ms 17ms 68.86.85.1
16. 18ms 19ms 17ms 62.156.128.73
17. 50ms 36ms 37ms 62.154.5.201
18 58ms 59ms 59ms 217.243.217.94
19 60ms 59ms 59ms 67.205.76.13

I did it a couple times and it always Timed out in attempt number 2.
What does this mean?

That's probably the hop to your modem, which will have a private IP address. Windows uses tracert to do reverse DNS lookup, gets no response from the DNS servers, because private IP's are not registered in the DNS system.

Thanks!
Do the tracert results inform anyone of the problem causing the crashes?

Sadly no, it looks like your connection is fine. If you haven't tried running tried running eqgame.exe under XP compatibility settings I suggest you do.

Do a search for eqw.exe and make sure in its properties its set to run as administrator.
