I am really truly baffled by this. What is the point of having lore in the game if talking about the lore is a jailable offense? I said something in guild chat about <god's name censored - i don't want to get introuble for mentioning part of the lore> and everyone jumps all over me telling me to shut up saying i'll go to jail, telling each other not to answer me (even though i didn't ask any question) and saying it's a trick and i'm just trying to catch someone breaking the rules, etc...

Really very strange to me. I can say that 100% of all of the other games I have played the developers like it when the players discuss lore, it's just another indication of how much people are into the story of the game that everyone worked so hard to create. But here it's like oh we worked so hard on this whole story if you say a word about it then @#$! you. It really makes no sense to me.

Well, alright. But I suspect a lot of people are just scanning the books for certain words that are mentioned in the quiz instead of actually learning the lore, anyway.

It's only direct answers from the books. Other than that you are free to talk about it

I like the lore, so I was really happy to find two books in my inventory, but I still had to skim for the answers even after reading both books for pleasure.

The quiz did feel a little heavy-handed, a way of forcing you to read the books. At least if the answers had been found in the books in chronological order, it might have been more pleasant. As it was, I was darting from one to the other and trying to find half-remembered scraps of information.

All the books are on the wiki which can make skimming them much easier.
