Full Screen Issue

Hey all,

I did search the forum and didn't come up with anything that I haven't already tried.

So pretty much when I try to use full screen SoD will not launch, after I hit patch and run it just flash's the screen 3-4 times then gives me an error. Eqmain.dll could not be found blah blah blah everquest.com blah blah blah. So i deleted it patched it same thing. if i check eqw it starts just fine. Any tips? I would really like full screen.


Also there are a few things I've noticed, like it wont allow me to use more than 2 models without telling me my computer can't handle it. Is this normal? My PC will handle anything EQ can throw at it. any help would be appreciated

For the models: after selecting the models you want, hit the enter key rather than clicking next or whatever the button says.

I don't know what to tell you about your fullscreen issue other than to make sure that your game resolution isn't set higher than max resolution of your video card/monitor.
 
Freejack, What do you mean eqgame patchme? like using the SoD patcher and not the regular eq launcher if so yes. I can play the game just fine, just not full screen. As for the max res that's not a problem its at 1280x1024, i run my desktop in 1080p @ 1920x1080.

I'm going to try installing it onto a separate drive and reinstalling SoD on it, to see if some fluke just happened during patching.
 
You can run it without the patcher either by using eqw or changing the EQ icon to ececute eqgame patchme which will then allow you to choose window or full screen in game.
