Friends List Issue

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to start off by saying Shards is the most fun I've in an MMO since Live! Great stuff!!



The issue I've been having is with my friends list. Whenever I add, remove and try to re-add a friend, some of the time, after the friend has been re-added, I don't see on my friends list when they are online. This doesn't happen for all, but many. Any ideas?

Also, is there anything that can/will be done about the helm bug? hehe just curious....
 
I have a friend on my list that's like that. They were on there when I started SoD iirc, but somewhere down the line they disappeared off of it. I've tried deleting and re-adding, but nothing works. They have a bunch of alts and they show up fine. They said they can't see me either unless they're on said alts. Odd.
 
if they are online and tell bugged or /lfg bugged they wont show up on the list until they fix it
 
This isn't the problem in this case. This is over a period of at least half a year, almost every night. Once I find them on we send tells back and forth.
 
I have the same problem. One of my friends who has been on my list since SoD came back never appears on my friends list. They aren't tell bugged or anything. I've added and removed about 30 times, doesn't make a difference. They show up on /w all xxx so I know they are online.
 
I posted about this before. Check to see if you have more than 30 friends in your friends list. If you do, then probably the issue.
 
Friend list cap

It looks like SOD only looks for your top 30 friends when you do a "/who all friends". If you look at the INI file, you can put 100 on the list. They are added starting from 99 ... 98. ... down to 0.

When I have somebody that does not show with /who all friends ... I delete a few and they show.

This may be a simple fix on the server side, changing the search from 30 to 100 friends.
