fresh reinstall of SOD my chars could give "the flash" a run

So i just got a fresh copy install. and patched SOD. i Log in windows mode all textures on with High settings.
issue 1) at character select my character is spinning so fast its glitching
issue 2) i log in and move and its like my characters DNA mixed with the flashes... super speed. I imediatly log'd out cuz idk what the issue is but i dont want to get hit for hacking.

HELP PLZ!


Oh my system is win 7 ultimate 64 (all drivers are current)
rat 7 mouse and levetron mech 4 keyboard

This sounds like the bug that occurs when you use a multicore processor. Check the "Bind Affinity" option in the patcher and make sure you always launch via the patcher when you play. This should fix it.

i tried setting affinity to all 4 of my cores individually as well as not binding it. tried setting priority tho it wont let me says i dont have priviledge (using task manager method)

ok i set affinity to processor core "0" and i put priority low (found these in forums) still have speed issue

There's a program linked elsewhere in the tech forums that talks about solving an NVidia bug, and it can do some fixups with respect to video problems. If you dig around for that, perhaps that will help. Obviously some kind of framerate limiting problem.
