Fomelo Update

At first I left FT without a cap, I was thinking it would be useful since the out of combat cap is 30, but I'll have it do 20* and you can mouseover for more information. The recovery cap is set at 40 with the current version.

The issues in IE and opera are definitely on the list so hopefully we can fix those.

We're of course looking into tomes, as well as deity bonuses, and adding up skill mods. Also no one as brought it up yet but I'm looking into preventing spell focuses from clogging up the side if they are superseded by another focus. For example on Alllizon I would just want Jayla's Impact to show up and not Relentless Arcana.

I might do ritual spells, I'll have to make sure the spacing works out ok with one more line, I'll try that later.

Anyway, if you happen to remember what your character looked like before, please let me know if anything doesn't seem to be adding up correctly and I can look into it. I didn't get to test everything robustly, but I guess you guys know your characters the best anyway.

The ID element isn't supposed to support the onmouseover and onmouseout events, move these event hooks to the TD element enclosing the IDs for the AAs and the exsisting javascript will work in a standards compliant way.

edit: Or rather I should say the the javascript is good already, Firefox is non-complient for firing these events for this element.

Ah, thanks I'll try that out in a bit. I did notice that IE worked cleanly with the onmouseover and onmouseout events and firefox was a little spotty, especially with firing the onmouseout. Thanks for the tip.

edit: whoops I thought you were referring to the mouseover stuff in the Advanced Item Effects area. I noticed that its possible to get it stuck on the onmouseover text, the onmouseout event doesn't fire sometimes if you play around with it in firefox.

Already grabbed it Eld, its fixed on the test site, should be updated to live soon. Thanks Wesell!

Awesome job really ! when I read about the tabs I was like wtf it really works ?! BTW does INT & WIS somehow matter past 355 ?

And I was curious about Spells tab, Nwaij asked for rituals, maybe also 60 slow for shaman, shout of agony and some potentially hidden spell I don't know off (besides very specific spells in Sep/COD, in which I would have put the Rituals tbh). Would make the need for a spell tab on hybrids though :/

IMO can do without the "missing" spells field, it's not like you really need to be told each class' spells every time you look at a profile.

There's the taratzu spells for wiz and pally you could add there as well.

Amazing update nice work.
And yeah drotic all those stats at 0 is kinda random =p

Is there anyway to make those aa buttons work in fomelo?

Just saw fomelo for the first time in a week or so. It looks great, I really like the mouse over stat idea and having the weight/attack added was a really cool addition. Thanks for the time you guys put in :)

My post yesterday was the fix for this problem, give Yami a chance to move this to the production Fomelo site.

Just noticed that Fomelo looks a little weird with IE - charts for stats/resists aren't adjusted accordingly. No biggie but it looks weird if those numbers slip out of the charts.

Will gnome focus affect bonuses be shown? For example, the +10% changes a 30% haste to 33%.

It seems to me this may be easier to know that the character is a gnome and gets this bonus (which is already listed under racial traits). Otherwise, people might think you have a 33% haste item and are getting 36% haste (if it auto calculated it). I think listing it and changing it would be redundant, but that is just me.

You should check Pheeliac. All her stats are reduced to 0* (!) and you have the real stat when you pass the mouse over the 0*.

No clue why.

Yeah any quested spells can go there. Like ft3 one for mages is quested. But that and those 2 dropped ones are all I'm aware of off the top of my head.

This should be fixed in the update today.

And PS I can't wait to release the other site we're working on :) ::bashes firefox with a big freakin hammer::

Neat, now I can stare at fomelos while at work =P

That aside - what's wrong with Fomelo display on firefox? Never noticed anything weird/messed up.
