Fitted Steel-Woven Mantle Focus Info Problems

My Wizard's Fitted Steel-Woven Mantle gives me the "Your Fitted Steel-Woven Mantle shimmers briefly" line every spell I cast - regardless of if I have the Focus Effects button clicked or not in the filters section of the options.

What can be done? As a Wizard I cast all the time, and it is very annoying when I'm trying to see how much I'm hitting for.

My only suggestion is to move your spell damage to another window to watch it without interruptions.
