Hey I just started a High elf Wizard and am leveling in NNP on the newbi hunting ground....every time I kill something it comes up with a -10% Zem bounes...Now I guess my question is that suppose to be happening for certain people not to level there and kill guards and stuff or is that a glitch and I really am gettin the 10% or is it a bug and I am gettin jipped....Either or I dont really care I still level just fine I just wanted to crack down on the issue and bring it to the eyes of some one that can see more clearly then me :)
 
My thoughts are that Newport is a really easy place to kill. Also, Newport seems to be the main area of whats going on. They could also just be trying to get people to go elsewhere. Or maybe just not kill guards or merchants or something like that. Could be in all the city zones, but I don't know for sure.
 
Its a ridiculously safe levelling spot, with the guards at one end of the playground and a zone to centaur hills on the other end. Just head into the sewers to rack up a much nicer +15% zem bonus.

Ahhh Good Idea on the sewers...Thanx very much for that Idea I like that...and Now I can get to fear stone much easier so...sewers then fearstone here I come!!!!

Also I have been having lag issues at prime hours and would like to know how close we are to gettin the new equipment/another box/ whatever it is to make it stop...Depending how close we are I may just donate the rest...
 
From what I understand the equipment is all rented or leased. It would probably then be a monthly fee and not just outright bought. Wiz has also said that donations have dropped off lately.
One of the SoD staff could probably answer this better.

ok well the quicker I know how close we are the quicker I can decied how much to donate...I was goin to become a regular gold donar...but the paypal thing cost a monthly fee for me to use my credit/debit card so...it kinda dropped the idea :(
 
Monthly fee? I hope not, I was under the impression they charge merchants but accounts used to pay for stuff were free. Anybody able to verify this?
 
I do not believe paypal charges to have an account (to buy things with), I know I have had a few paypal accounts over the years and unless they started this very recently, they do not charge a fee.
 
I've never seen any fees from PayPal other than a per transaction fee on received money. So the seller is the only party who ever pays any sort of fee.
 
Ahhh...well I will take a look in to it and get it cleared up...if no fee for me to make the monthly transaction for a gold membership....Wiz you get a new gold member :D
