Exp nerf

The raid game actually does eventually require you to possess a non-welfare charm, for most classes a 228k Diabolic/Holy Charm/Juggernaut eventually being the bare-bones minimum to scrape by without being a total carry in a raid mostly comprised of people who have eternals and supremes at T12-T13. People are not incentivized to "play" when they farm charm money, they farm for the specific purpose of getting money for that charm as Fuwok said. It's not a real platinum sink when most of that platinum is being earned for the sole purpose of spending it on that charm.

Absolutly nothing is "required" to *play* the game,if you cant do the content go somewhere else.
If you can only enjoy the game at T12/13 I really feel with you.

When you've done everything there is to do as the class(es) you enjoy playing there is really not much else but raid game. I would only love to replay the entire game from level 1 as an arcane knight.

You can only grind through 1-65, a few hundred aa's, and tomes so many times before it bores the living hell out of you. Hell, the tome grinding gets boring, seeing the same zones all the time.

I just want to say that I've pretty much stopped playing outside of raiding because grinding xp/plat is so effing boring at this point.

this is the boat everyone rocks.... and soon a friend will show you another game and you will go off and play it never to return. or just quit and go outside.

Grinding for a 1.2 million charm should not even come into the conversation when you are talking about casual players. No one that plays a few hours a week is ever going to care about that.

I can definitely confirm that people who play a few hours a week can get and sometimes do care about charms. I know someone who does this yet somehow procured three of them. Not disagreeing with anything here. Just sayin.

The game is much more enjoyable when you do not care about money and are not spending hours alone killing placeholders hoping for luck money in an awful zone.

arcane knights would have been the best thing to happen to this game in a real long time, thats probably why they werent released :p

Well yeah I've been playing Diablo 3 more than I have SoD. I mean I like loot games and in SoD the loot game only lasts to a certain point, then it becomes a grind game.
