I would worry about that part. New box is pretty pointless if it goes POOF in 2 months. Great that it is there but I am sure there was tons of work put in by staff with it.
 
So what this means is that if you enjoy LOW/NO LAG...DONATE!

I donate because I appreciate what these guys do and really...10 bucks a month isn't that much to spend for the entertainment provided.

Hell if you can only chip in 5 bucks, do it! Every little bit really does count.

I've been on ther server a little less than a year, but even in that time there has been SO much added in the way of quests, items, zones, lore, etc.

I know some people can't afford 5 bucks in a month...err...wait. No. No I don't understand that really. :-/

Maybe you dont' believe in the server and don't feel it's worth it to donate. Fine, but just say that. Don't spout off the "aw gee whiz shucks I'd like to donate, but I can't afford it"

Having run an EQ server at one point in time I understand the MASSIVE amount of time spent on building a database, writing quests, and dealing with random pricks who want to log on and fuck up your hard work.

So forgive my lack of sympathy for deadbeats...

For people who don't play often, I'm not talking about you. This is mostly directed at the 50+ people who enjoy playing for "free" EVERY DAY.

And I would like to thank all of the people who do donate and/or contribute regularly to making the playing environment a great place to be.

And now that I have offended at least 25% of the server population, buh bye. :)

While I completely agree with you, there is such a thing called Jobless. I find myself Jobless at the moment, so what cash I have and get goes towards other things (like, *gasp* food and drink) instead of to the places I'd like to give to. Once my situation calms down, then I can jump on your bandwagon, donate, and sit on a high chair.

Wait, that sounded like a flame...
 
If you skip one sixpack a month, you can put that money towards the server. While you may be in a "NO MONEY TO SPARE" situation, I doubt everyone here is. Similarly, if you want to go out to eat, instead make some ramen at home, and you've saved several dollars, which you could then donate. It's pretty simple to cut out one luxury to help fund another that you likely get a lot more enjoyment out of.

I don't mean to be preachy, sorry.

I just want to donate to this wonderfull game... and now with the new donation method i finally can.

This second box (which is implemented for the 2nd time now) is great news and it certainly deserves a lot more attention from the players :D
