Forage

Sorta like the bash training bug... Trained forage the minuimum amount to be able to use it. Zoned out of Surefall and it was untrained. Retrained it again with one point twice... Each time I zoned, it went back to being untrained. Tried again with 3 trains, still untrained.

Mob runspeed is still too fast, being able to outrun mobs easily was one very nice thing in WR and made many classes much more soloable and grinding less of a pain, i hope ToT won't remove that feature.

Try training once the skill and then use it until it increases at least once before zoning. It also happened to me before the beta ;)

For the 'untraining skills' problems, you might want to check out the class areas at http://eq.crgaming.com/ and make sure your class/race combo is supposed to have the skill. In my experience, tt seems to be happening mainly with abilities that shouldn't be available yet/at all (like Bash for rangers, Forage for pre-15 non-wood-elf druids, etc). I've heard some people in-game bringing up this bug who were a little confused on when they were supposed to get a skill.

OK, here are few more of my fidnings.

paladin spell vendor in North Freeport

In Centuar Hills, the mobs seem to see you and agro too far away.. I got jumped by 1 Gnoll and then before I knew it there were 5 of them.. and the only that was in sight was the one that agro me to start out with... the others joined from I have no idea where...

Also in Cent Hills, they mobs seem to be hitting pretty hard.. the gnolls were blue to me and were doing some major dmg to me...

orc burrowers in cent hills are human models

frogs still start in taldor malath dunno if that's intentional or not

frogs should start there if i have read the lore on them correctly.

gnolls might do a lot of dmg because they are monks, not sure if they are but i know a lot of the gnolls in iceclad kick for more then they hit because they are monks.

Some minor stuff, may not be Beta related. These may even be eqemu "bugs" since I don't remember even trying to test these before the Beta.

You must be set to a channel you can actually use (not in /group unless you're in a group) to use the #bind command. I default my channel to group, and if the group has been disbanded and I try to #bind, I get the "you talking to yourself again" and it doesn't accept the command. You have to switch your default channel (or in my case, be grouped) in order to #bind.

Once you #bind if you do a /charinfo it tells the wrong bind point, it doesn't update with the new one. That is, until you die then it updates. The bind works for the right place, just doesn't get the text updated. I haven't tested with zoning, just with dying. - EDIT- I see that this has been submited to the Bug list, by Wiz himself, WAY back on 2-28-04, it still exists in the Beta. - EDIT-

I'm finding myself taking a lot more risks in the beta. Taking mobs I probably shouldn't be.

Loot seems sparse to me. I've killed lots of mobs, and have barely enough coin to train my skills up, let alone buy equipment. I don't want to be rolling in money, but being level 7 with newbie equipment is bad (can't afford anything else). Since I'm now fighting mobs hitting me for 15-25 (or more) non critical, and I'm getting in a max of 12 (with critical) is a really hard battle.

My (mage) pet died in obsidian shard mountains and left a corpse (I could even loot it).

Also I got stuck in Southern Waste of Tarhyl pos: -2096.25, 1341.12, -59.43

Desert Orc Blood-kin's in Northern Wast of Tarhyl aren't drooping any loot or coin, I did get some silver off the named mob that spawns at that group though.

What you should do is give all your various #command hotkeys a /say prefix, it's easy enough.

/say #bind
/say #style aggressive

...etc.

Western Plagueland (commons)

-desert mobs (scorpions, pumas) jump around on z-axis when in combat
-incorrect loot off rattlesnakes (beetle leg, beetle eye)

Something I've noticed in general, as a pet using class... If my pet is engaged in combat and I am sitting, but have done nothing to agro the mob, it will sometimes come smack me, then return its attention to my pet once I am standing. Seems like it's agroing on me for no reason.

small bug, in Northern Waste of Tarhyl the doors on the huts are open, when you click on them they open more and go outside of the building.

Don't know if its a beta bug... but...

When I buy the some spells in Grobb, it goes into the equiptment slot for charms, and causes a crash, even with an empty leather bag in first inventory slot.
