Error starting game

Heya.

First timer here, and have patched up eq, and used the sodpatcher.
It patches all and then it gives you the option to start game.

On loadscreen EQW beta 2.35a i get the following Error

Error opening packed file system (lot o squares and a few letters)
 
What package did you use to install the game (Titanium, Original expansion disks, ect.)?
 
Because you can't get the files you need by patching from live any more it is very important to install from a compatible package. The starting guide has a list of packages that work (you really want Titanium).
 
I am having this same issue. Used Evolution on both my desktop and laptop, works on desktop, getting this error on my laptop.....any ideas?
 
i too am getting an error on start up but ive gotten 2 the first was
"This application has failed to start because mss32.dll was not found and the second that followed about 5 secs after was about the game not abls to load eqw or something


i have titanium package if that is needed to be known and it works compleatly fine too
 
i had the same error not long ago...i just started using EQw and everything was fixed. :psyduck:

dont know what else to say. make sure you've done all the expansions
 
no I've got the eqw activated but it seems to not load when i click on "patch and run". and I've got the entire set of the first ten expansions on should i just reinstall maybe? nope a reinstall didn't help
 
ok it seems to be too much trouble to get into this ive gotten the mss32.dll done and now its giving me stuff about

"Exeption Processing Message c0000135 Paraments
75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c"

and a

"Failed to load the Graphics DLL!"
