Error running patcher?

Getting a popup box as soon as I run the DOS patcher:

Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

Process i=0x6e0 (1760), Thread id=0xc04 (3076)

Click OK to terminate the application
Click CANCEL to debug the application

*If I happen to hit cancel I get this:

Registered JIT debugger is not available. An attempt to launch a JIT debugger with the following command resulted in an error code of 0x2 (2). Please check computer settings.

cordbg.exe !a 0x6e0

Click on Retry to have the process wait while attaching a debugger manually.
Click on Cancel to abort the JIT debug request.

*Worked fine this morning, except for a graphical glitch when I had dark elf male and female Luclin models turned on at the same time that made dark elf females look -really- messed up and would not go away until I turned off dark elf male models. Probably unrelated.
*If I actually hit Retry on that dialog box, the DOS window sits there forever.

The Patching server was down for a little bit last night, don't know if this is related. Having the patcher crash like that sounds like it could be .net related. One step might be to try to reinstall the .NET framework (just 1.1 or whatever it is).
