I'm still at this indie game thing. Getting better at it every time I think.

My latest is a literal love-letter to EQ. It plays like EQ, it looks kinda like EQ. It's single player though but it pretends its not. There's simulated players, fake MMORPG stuff, and it's supposed to feel like an online game except its not and you can walk away at any time without inconveniencing 17 pals.

I really like the look, feel, and concept of Erenshor. And I generally don't like things. Wishlisted and highly anticipated!

You know, this would be a fairly rad idea for an actual MMO. Like a more immersive version of the Mercenary system. I keep thinking of good old Fippy Darkpaw and how iconic he was, but flip that around to some upstart "hero" charging Blackburrow out for revenge you could aid. Or if Guard Nash kept inviting you to group on his Qeynos Hills murder spree. That and filling groups with place holders until real players came along. Strap a chatbot on that bad boy to tells jokes, lore ladden war stories, or whatever. The future is now.

Im really looking for a good chatbot solution for the sim players. Right now they're using canned text that I hand-write and they can contextually respond to simple dialog from the player. It works well enough but I'm looking forward to seeing how good I can get it!

Also, I'm stealing lots of names from my old shards friends for sim player names, hope you all don't mind...

I'm just imagining your group having a member doing something stupid and wiping you. Regularly. Players would never know if you programmed it badly or added it for realism.

Also, this looks awesome and I would definitely play it!
