Entrance mob in PoFrost

Ok, this thing is insane, it at one point was putting out over 2k dps on the main tank.
It could use a 15% drop in dps. I mean it hits for 2k is unslowable and procs 2.5k dd and its the entrance guardian. I understand having something there to stop people from camping the zone killing trash while they wait for players to get on but that thing is a little over the top.
It could seriously take out 2 to 3 named in the zone and not break a sweat. That thing would rape the ice spinner.
 
Are you talking about the constructed patrollers? Because if so, you uh, might wanna get used to that. Some mobs hit like mach trucks. They usually compensate for it by having trash for hp. We thought they were among the easier trash mobs since at least they didn't come in 3s or 4s.

In the words of our tank "Hits like a Djar elder with twice the hp. Easy enough."
 
Sorry to hijack but will Frost have 2 additional zones as it was supposed from when it was announced ? I think Wiz said there would be 3 zones, just curious.

Well if you mean is frost supposed to be winged yes it is, (2 wings) but currently due to a bug with one of the phantom striking encounters everyone in the zone seems to get hit by them.


Also its not that, our guild honestly found the entrance mob to be harder than the first 2 named on the left side of the zone.

Also that mob doesn't just hit like a truck it also has quite a bit of hp, although that was never the problem. Our problem was that if it gets a few lucky rounds and procs(2500 each) in it can pretty much instagib a tank with 7k unbuffed hp (10k+ buffed).

Also it was only the first construct that gave us trouble the other ones seem to hit for a little less and have less hp.

And as a side note waldo has to have a sick sense of humor with those spiders, seriously the boss was cake, although pulling it was pretty easy once we got the hang of it but damn man. Still it is pretty funny to just see massive amounts of mobs when someone you are getting the hang of it.
 
Some mobs in the high end hit REALLY hard. We lost our MT to a 5800 dmg riposte last night, no joke. You basically just have to overheal and never duck.
 
Have you been to any other Woldaff zones?

woldaff mobs are....... interesting to say the least.

he makes them so your not doing some snoreriffic trek into a raid zone.

Saying that, some are insanely annoying. Valorb was crazy fun then bosses were fun but OMGannoying.

ToT pretty much best raid zone (that i have been to). Minus some wings having way too much trash then hard fights (at least the fact there are 5-6 named in the wing helps that a bit).

Wold also works on stuff to tweak his zones and doesn't ignore.

All that being said, don't complain about a mob that hits for 2k and has a dd. thats easy to deal with. Wait till you have one that hits for 5k and has a 3k dd or hits for 2k/spawns adds that spams 500 hits fast/2k dd. Someone said it before, don't duck heals. Ducking heals on heavy hitting mobs always is bad unless it hits very slow.

Yea there are a few mobs that can wipe out a MT in half a round (not counting the thing in Earth).
These fights take a tad of luck and great healing and dps (to not drag out the fight too long).
