emerald mountain drake != undead

Happend to cast sense the dead in Goblinskull mountains, searching for some dwarf skeletons. I was surprised when it sensed "an emerald mountain drake". Could these be marked as not undead?

He has a point though, for some reasons many reasons many npcs are flagged undead. Shaman pets for some reason, Ancient Rock torrent I noticed today (and I can cast undead nuke on it but he will just swallow it without aggroing nor any resisted message) and some other stuff I lost track of.
 
I was hoping the joke would allude to the fact that I am fixing it.

I need to allude harder next time.


Sham pets are supposed to be that way though.
 
OK while we're on the subject I have a few other questions :
- Vampires (Cata, Elds) are undead obviously yet they swallow the undead nuke - is that intended ?
- Emberflow has some undead-looking mobs (phantom remnants, skeleton-looking stuffs) but none are flagged undead - is it normal ?
- One part of Plane of Frost holds quite a bit of undead-looking creature yet they're not flagged undead - is it an oversight ?
 
I'm going to guess the vampires probably should be. Though as for the pof guy...well just looking undead isn't always the best indicator.
