Elephant Hide

Anyone any clue as to what Elephant Hide is for? I've looted two now, They're not stackable and weigh 6.0 each...I've killed loads of elephants in south bads, doesn't seem to be a common drop. Any Ideas?

Maybe nothing. Remember the tusks that dropped in EQlive off of the mammoths in Everfrost were unstackable & weighted about that.

Aye, I guess thats a good point, just wasn't sure whether they were for a specific armor or something similar

i've talked to a few high end tailors around the game, there is, as far as they know, no use for those hides. and the merchants wont take them... so they are intended for your destroy button

Wait. An item with no known uses that can't even be sold to merchants for cash? What's the point of them even being in the loot table?

Then again it might be for a quest that's um...broken...maybe...or just undiscovered.

hmmmm in the last patch they've made this elephant hide stackable.....interesting
