Dual Clienting with power to spare???

jesus...i can 5 box on my computer and mine isnt even half of that...

you (with some serious multi monitor+ insane hotkey setup) could probably box and entire raid with that beast

its a bit much imo when the total area of graphics cards exceeds that of the motherboard and any other peripheral cards

New meaning to the words 'one man army' heh. If you have pockets that deep why not build your own rather than rely on somebody else's setup? Granted home built isn't for everyone but...wait then again with the specs on that thing you might, i repeate MIGHT be able to run doom 3 at full grpahics and speed. MAYBE.

Good luck building a quad SLI system, that takes some seriously serious knowhow about nvidia drivers and chipsets and all that stuff

I can run Doom 3 at full graphics without even a dual SLI setup, what are you talking about?

Yeah, Doom3 is no longer the benchmark "big boy" on the block. Now...FEAR....that game is now the "big boy" for benchmarking.

FEAR isn't that intensive either. I run it at 1600x1200 and the only thing I have to turn off to have constant 30+ FPS is AA or whatever it's called, which I run at 2x. Same for Quake 4, except I can run that at 1920x1200.

Games aren't really overusing the current resources the way Doom 3 did. They got it pretty spot on, which is good. Dual SLI is useless at the moment for this reason, let alone quad SLI.

Fear supports wide screen, wigga. Tap dat ass with 1920.

As for the topic title, I reckon power is the last thing you'll have to spare with that thing draining 850+ watts.

And yes, bumping a month old thread is my speciality.
