Dryads in Heartlands

Some years ago I went through and did the main quest on my druid. Later on I realized people could port directly to the Heartlands and I didn't know how. I was told you buy the port spell from Amisha in the Heartlands. The problem is she is dubious to me so I'm not able to buy from her. Apparently there is some side quest during the main quest which gives you the faction to be able to purchase from her. What I'm asking is can you make this side quest available anytime so that I can go back and do it or make some way available so that I could purchase the port spell I'm missing? Thanks.
 
maybe a stupid question, but is there any reason you can't just buy it on another character and trade it?
 
I too have been plagued by this throughout my career as a Druid. Can't port Heartlands, it just makes you look like a big noob
