Dominion, Family Friendly Casual Raiding and Grouping
What we are
Dominion is a Shards of Dalaya based guild. We are a blend of old and new friends and place great importance on both character ability and personality. Our goals are to see more, do more and have a good time while doing it. No drama, no arguments over gear, just a fun environment. Gear is merely what we use while we are having fun, it is not why we play. We laugh when we wipe and then we try it again if we have time. A good way to describe our base philosophy is that many people run to the destination and we smell the rose's on the way. SoD is not something to rush through, it is a finely crafted storyline and environment to enjoy at every step.
Our members are mostly working adults and college students with lives and those lives come first. This does not mean no one under 18 by any means, but it is a reflection on our guild environment.
What we recruit
Raiding
We recruit and focus on people versus characters or AA's. We are currently recruiting to help improve our capabilities and make advancement smoother. We are not a huge guild by any means, but we do pride ourselves on being a close knit group that gets the job done. We are not a raid guild per se, but we do raid a few times a week(Thurs/Sat normally but they are flexible). Our raids are casual, but I do hope you can make most of them if you are coming to us for raiding. I hate to say, but we are absolutely full on plate wearing classes, except possibly a spot for a casual cleric. Even that is a low priority though.
For those who wish to raid, we would like to get about 3-4 people. Classes we are currently seeking for raids- a mained enchanter & as a lower priority some general DPS such as a single mained Mage.. We aim for 60+, but if you are the right kind of person that is negotiable. Levels and AA's come with time and we are all willing to invest the time if you are a loyal, fun and mature person.
Casual Players
For those who wish to join for grouping instead of raiding, there is no specific number. If you want some place to just casually log in and work quests, XP, Tradeskill, Roleplay or just chat we may enjoy having you along. To be considered for casual joining, I would prefer that your toon be 45+(for grouping purposes) and you be fun/mature.
We value maturity and generousity in a completely casual environment. Nothing is mandatory except having fun. If playing a game is not fun, why would you do it?
Time zones we range from EST to PST. We have space for them all. Ideally, we would get some from from each.
