Does the old winters roar starting zone still exist?

Does that winters roar starting zone still exist somewhere? The one with the bandit camps and the bears.

I seem to remember it connecting to a zone that had a friendly spectre in it?

Yes, and he's talking about Thurgadin, and yes it still exists, but it's now a level 40ish zone.

I assumed he was talking about ice bears and the shadow dwarves who were both rogues and wizards. He could have been talking about kodaiks.
