Do accounts get deleted after a period of inactivity?

Hi guys, over the summer I didn't have access to a stable enough internet connection to bother with SoD, so I gave my info to a friend to keep my character going. Now that I'm back in the dorms, I decided I would start playing again, except that it says that my username/password is bad. My friend says that he got bored of SoD pretty quickly and hasn't even been on in like the last 3 months. Is it possible that my account has been deleted due to inactivity or something? I can still find my main character, Larshool, on the Fomelo, but it insists my password is bad. The password is the same thing I've used for pretty much everything, so I'm almost positive that I haven't forgotten it. Can I recover this character or do I have to start from scratch?
 
Yes. I read that. I also noticed that it was posted like 6 months ago and lists the gmail address as a temporary solution. I'll try that then though, thanks.
