Diversify Some Class roles! (long)

Disagree with you on that fact. Wiz will outdamage a mage.

A wizard can outdamage a mage if he drops his mana bar. A mage and wizard, both oom, and the mage is still doing better DPS with a pet that wont die to a single riposte (or two).

Wiz has already stated that slow has a cap here on WR. it's like 50 or 60%. No other classes need it. You've also overlooked that Necros have slow too for undead mobs.

I am not looking to having stacking slows! Slow is such a powerful spell. For an amount of mana, you can lower the DPS output of a mob by up to 50%. Thats like ONE spell that stuns a mob for 25% of the fight. Geez, where is that stun?

on high end mobs you need DPS. If two classes can fill the role of enchanter even halfway and still give their full DPS, then YES any group with their right mind would take the DPS and abilites. alot of mobs are immune to mez with root being the only form of CC.

An enchanter brings so much more to a group than just mez. Even under my changes and excluding a shaman, it would take a rogue, beast, druid, and bard to somewhat fill the role of one enchanter. A rogue mezzing is a rogue not bacstabbing. A beast slowing is a beast aggro'd. A bard mezzing is a bard out of the fight almost entirely.

See the statement above about mez being useless at times, slow being just barely above if that a Bst. And it's not unless an enchanter has 61 plsu that they actually have a decent DD.

Mez being useless in the case of constructs or high level raid mobs, all of which can summon and are quite often immune to root as well.

The rest of your post concerns the "Vision" and the ideas of what classes should be able to do and not do. And yet, in the post I have above, it seems clear that some core group role distributing already exists on WR to make up for the lack of persistent class diversity.

See my above post for strict numbers and some revelations.

WR doesn't need any more class interconnections. The only place I know of that requires the holy trinity group (perfectly balanced) is cmal3, and even then it's iffy. We've had groups without a warrior, without a cleric, without a shaman. I've done trios of cmal1/2. We don't need the perfect group anywhere. it's just people think we do and won't group unless they get it.

they might be good war replacements the only problem in cmal are those guy who do insane nukes on people with mana. So in cmal i rather see a war tank than any (good) replacement

Actually, I think warriors make good paladin replacements, if you cant find a good paladin I guess a warrior does alright.

Anyway, whats up with none of you guys thinking Nazul can tank, Id take Nazul over most warriors on this server anyday. Maybe its just some inside joke.

Nazul is an amazing tank. He can hold aggro better than Colt in an XP group. Only time I've seen him not pull aggro was when I pulled it off with the akheva whip, and crit curse. 1282 DD with Item Adept 2 (20% extra proc rate) means a lot of aggro for a little bard. :)

But yeah, Nazul is my tank. He can't tank for other groups, only mine!! :-D

Warriors really suck ass outside of raiding and dual-clienting in the top game if you ask me. They don't shine anywhere else, and an SK is superior in every way imaginable in an exp group.

ps: nazul and nuralia sitting in a tree...

Shaman has 50% haste at 60.

You're also overlooking that even more changes at 61+. Shamans get SLTW (60% haste), bards get a 40% slow, Necros can mez mobs up to level 59, etc.
