Disease Griefers

Can we get the bank guards to put the smackdown on chars that afk at the bank while spreading their disease. A certain bard with disease(s) afk at the athica bank with his heal songs on comes to mind.

That would be a lot cooler than just jailing them, but I guess the threat of jail is enough as is to sway them.
 
IMO, if someone gives you a disease I think it should flag them pvp for 5 minutes.

From a roleplaying aspect whenever someone diseases me I want to beat the snot ouf of them

Tards would be less likely to disease grief as well
 
everyones suggestion here is lame except zhaks, you guys want to take all the fun out of it.
 
I don't see any fun in it to begin with.

Gameplay has been altered so that:
- I can't summon someone some food or water unless they are in my group.
- Half my guild gets left behind during AOE ports, due to a combination of raid bugs and mass ports being restricted to those in the raid.
- I can't cast an illusion on another player unless they are in my group.

All of these are an inconvenience to gameplay, with the purpose of preventing griefers who would abuse them.

And now the game has been changed so that I can go catch a few diseases, and run around a city or someone's raid spreading that disease, taking up precious buff slots and overwriting buffs, with no group/raid restriction.

What's next, making cure disease group only so we can't try to stop the Typhoid Mary's out there?

Please change it so that the spread of disease is limited to group/raid, or better yet back to the way it was before where it can only be transmitted up and back from mobs.

Also, please make the Majordomo in The House a healer, so we can escape and get rid of this crap.

I know that was meant as a rant...but wouldn't the issue also be solved so that it only spreads in groups? Would prevent griefers and still have a role playing aspect.

Then it would barely ever spread, most people are ok enough to tell their group mates that they're infected before they would spread it onto them and their pets.

Purposefully chasing others around simply to infect them is griefing. Griefing = Jail, and we are only doing it in extreme cases.

The spread wasnt intended to be quite the forest fire it is currently, and is being retooled.
 
diseases spreading also will help to push people out of athica and maybe hang out in lesser populated areas, which imo is a good thing.
 
Is it really so hard to go spend like what? 1 gold at the healer to cure the disease? Or ask someone to cast cure disease? OMG!
 
After the initial thrill of playing disease pokemon wore off, it doesn't really seem that bad. Athica and SNP had a disease or two floating around (as it should be), but were relatively clean.
 
Make it so that the disease scales to level of the Receivee, IE my level 9 got blackbloat today and it took 10 cures to get rid of, why not make it 3 since im only level 9
 
As if... make it so that if your spell cannot remove at least half the counters, it is too weak to remove any counters.

"This disease is beyond your meager ability to heal."
 
I really don't see people FOLLOWING others for the point of diseasing the group/raid/person so just avoid populated areas.

Don't go to L.A. if you don't want to breathe pollution, likewise don't chill out in highly congested areas if you don't want to catch blackbloat.

EDIT: Also, what's up with getting diseased causing invis to break? that's crap
