We'd like to gather some information so that we can try to pinpoint the issue:

If you have been having disconnection problems, please send me **a private message** with the following information (important):

- When have you first noticed the issue (approximately)?

- Account Name that was logged in at the time of disconnection

- Character Name that was logged in at the time of disconnection

- Were you dual boxing when the disconnection took place? Do both characters get disconnected ?

- Were you able to re-connect right away ? If not, how long does it take for you to be able to re-connect ?

- Your Country and Timezone (Timezone will be used to convert all logs to the same timezone for easier analysis)

- Your operating system (E.g, Windows XP SP1 or SP2.. Windows Vista, Windows 7, Linux, OS X)

- Public IP Address (Obtained from http://www.whatismyip.com/)

- A traceroute to 72.55.164.91 (Procedure on how to do a traceroute can be found here: http://kb.siteground.com/article/How_to_perform_traceroute_checks_in_Windows_Linux_and_MacOS.html)

- An excerpt of the file dbg.txt found in your SoD directory (only the last 2 minutes before the crash, please)

This is confirmed via testing:

We are not responsible for your network connection issues if you or someone on your network has bit torrent or any other form of P2P sharing applications running. This can and will cause problems with lag, connecting to the server, and disconnects or hangs when zoning. These apps combined with your distance from the server will make it highly problematic to play. Disable or turn off any P2P file sharing programs on your network when playing SoD.

If you are using AVG, Anti-Virus/Firewall software this has been confirmed to be a problem with our client. Please try disabling it, and using the Windows Firewall to see if it solves your problems. Thanks td1976 for this reported fix.

I've had no problems after the PL fix until today. Tracerts look good to IP. I've sent all the info you requested to PM.
I'm running Microsoft Security Essentials. I'll give it a roll without it and the Windows Firewall

Thanks for all of your hard work on this.
