Diety pledging

I am sure this has been brought up in the past a few times, but I think it would be a major improvement to have the whole pledging to a deity system reworked slightly.

At the moment you just have a pile of npc's on an island , hailing them for info.



Some of them offer you a dialogue of :

[D1] What is the alignment and demands of your faith?
Followed by
[D1] I am ready to serve That guy

The problem here comes with the fact that some of them just skipping to the second option (See: Enthann recruiter).

There are undoubtedly people who will make mistakes here.


It would be a nice change to have them all have some dialogue tree to prevent dumb mistakes, or better yet not have an option for this at all. Perhaps making the player actually type out a line to verify the choice (See: New accounts and the /ooc I agree by the rules)

While your at it,... the ability to Drop a deity for Divine Light would be nice instead being forced to only go Pariah.

Then again I love a way for Pariah to be able to become sworn to a deity (long quest of redemption and trust blah blah)

I agree with this if the way I understand Divine Light is correct. Accepting all gods and divinity should be an option as the flip side forsaking one's god.
