Diablo Mass Bannings!

Hi all, first post here...

Not sure if there are any Diablo LOD players here. As of just a few days ago, they went on a MASS banning spree and banned approx 35,000 players for using various map-hacks/bots. Yes, I was one of them...I just ran a bot here and there to gather up items. They closed my main account and restricted my cd-key from playing closed battle.net. I still have 4 other full mules of awesome stuff, but I am going to take a break on the game for a while.

Then what do you know...My girlfriend and I were at Goodwill and I found Everquest Platinum for only $5! It has 7 expansions on it...so I figured I'd buy it and try out some private servers.

Lets see how long it takes for me to get hooked =P
 
i got 2 Diablo2 whit expansion cd keys.
I bought the game when it was relesed

And none of em are banned.

So what do we learn from that ?

Say NO to Maps hacks , nidelpinbots , mephistobots and what ever trade / dupe shit haxx there is out there.
 
Yeah, I learned my lesson...sort of. That's not to say when a more reliable bot is out, I won't use it.

I have about 5 cd keys to use, so that wasn't much of a problem.



Now to try and figure out Everquest and see what all the hub bub was about!
 
Yeah, if you really think cheating is ok I doubt you'll stick around here very long.
 
just a word of advice hear dont use any of the bots/ mape hack or any thing else read SoD rule or they will bane you hear. as to the rest hope to see ya out there like the rest of use hason the warrior :dance: :dance:
 
Yeah, pay particular attention to the absolutely no bots or macros rule. Getting max fishing without you being there just isn't worth the ban, cuz they'll catch you.
 
I got banned too, but not because of cheating, it was because of the person who gave me the cdkey ><
 
I played D2 too, but not for long online. Too much cheaters. Maybe I give it a try now :toot:

And yeah, if you think cheating is part of the game: wrong server, farewell.

I ended up beating d1 a looooong time ago, when i went to replay it though it just doesnt seem like the same game, not in the least. Kinda lost interest in it already, maybe ill try 2

To hell with that, I used to be heavily into D2 cheating back when Diabloworld was the bee's knees, and I still turned out okay!
