Diablo 3

Had a friend close to beating Nightmare within like 12 hours of release, pretty cool game. I give it another week before people realize it is worse than D2.

I'm enjoying it a lot more than D2. Level 47 barb, working through act 3 NM. Suprfli6#1943 if anyone wants to add me.

The new cow level by itself makes this game amazing.

Bronie level.

Bango I am not sure this game is worse than D2, but it is much different. It has things that D2 never had, but D2 has some things this doesn't have. I think overall this is a much better game than D2, but we'll see. Playing 4 player coop is massive amounts of fun.

Quick Diablo 3 Review.

Story: Going to be honest with you the story in the past was ran along side the players. In diablo 3 the players are right in the middle of the story. Let me tell you how disappointing this is. I haven't played a game with such a lame story in a while. Paper thin characters ect.. the whole while you were out thing happens like 4 times. Good thing after the first play through you can skip the story.

Game play: Game play is great solo and with friends I enjoy it a lot. The gear progression is much more like wow then it is with diablo 2. It felt more like you had to stop and grind for some gear in D2 where as in wow you get gear just as you level. I'm not a big fan of being handed gear like that. After all is said and done with the gear the game play is still great. There are many many different monsters to fight and just as many skills to kill them with. I've gotten a lot out of the game play already and I'm in the early stages of farming inferno.

Auction house and presentation.
The auction house has changed your mind set when farming. You don't need to find your upgrades any more, just some one elses. This is both good and bad. It allows you to find the exact stats you need on gear. This is bad because I think it will reduce some of the play time you'll get out of the game.

Joining friends games have never been easier. I really like this match making implementation. They added a new MF buff for farming that goes up with the mobs you kill. This is a great buff but you only get it at level 60.

All in all I've gotten 50+ hours out of it and still going. Its a good investment hopefully it gets patched and balanced and more loot types as D 2 did. I greatly miss unique and sets of all levels though.}

Tons of players have been using jsp for years in D2 which mimics the AH anyway. My only complaints about the game are the AH crashing and bugging out and also the difficulty curve in Inferno isn't about being a skillful player or coming up with solutions to new boss mechanics, it's just about outgearing it and skipping the mobs that are essentially impossible for you gear level and/or class. It's not a particularly fun or engaging sort of difficulty. Bliz said they'll give it a bit more time for more people to try it and then they'll reevaluate it.

The AH just overwhelmed them. It's similar to the WoW AH but with way way more people using it. I've made a lot of money even with it not being up 100% of the time and certain things bugging out but it still really needs fixing.

Molten just triggers Revenge more for me. Bring it, bitches.

Shit that runs/flies away constantly is the bane of my existence though.

I'm still getting wrecked by a decent amount of stuff in Inferno Act2, and even worse in 3/4. Should have rolled a ranged class :(

I've got a monk a little bit under your barb in gear. Act 1 farming is fine for me I can face roll through most packs outside of arcane and shielding. I only see barbs having an advantage at tanking mobs with un-dodgable skills that you have to not stand in the fire. Act 2 is a crap shoot of hard mobs with even harder comps. Its really Imbalanced for melee vs Ranged right now. Range can solo in acts 2-4 no problem. I can just barely solo in act 2 and taking any kind of hits in act 3 is right out. I enjoy the difficulty it just bothers me that its not as hard for all classes. Range go around stacking damage and burn through shit. Melee need Hps,Armor,Dodge,Resists Range classes can get by with level 57+ with baller stats and melee need to stack a lot more.
The pro I do see to this is being able to make use of more stats I see end game melee being much more powerful in late Act 4 gear.

Long story short if you play through diablo 3 and hated act 1 re-roll a ranged class, because if you are melee you'll be spending a lot of time on act 1 and with the AH window open.
