Deity Picking ?

Does this mean that there will be another level to the Tarhansar aug? I've been debating whether to go Gradalsh or Tarhansar on a shm/mnk adept combo I've been leveling up. The highest Tarhansar aug I could find was Reinhardt which was comparable to Banjimen, but Gradalsh seems to go up another level to Cinn.
The final fight of the Tarhansar Aug Quest is not yet implemented, so yes, eventually there will be another level to it.

Also is either of these quest lines more accessible to a new 65 box with T2/T3ish gear?

Finally, I've duo'ed COI before, but Blackscale looks like it would require a lot of grouping with the artifacts and generally be more of a pain in the ass. Is this impression correct at all?

Thanks!
Having done neither of those aug quest lines, nor CoI nor Blackscale quest line, I can't answer those questions really.

Blackscale wasn't too bad, and most of the artifacts are pretty easy to snag. Don't be afraid to pledge Tarhyl, the gear is very replaceable with new content and as a rogue, your gear isn't really all that important anyway. There is very little in ToT that's a must-have for a rogue (though there are a few nice pieces that you will later replace). That's all WAY down the road though. If you plan on raiding seriously, I would wait to pledge a diety until you join a solid guild and decide you like it.

The most important part of pledging to a diety is that you want to have your core group of homies lined up first so you don't miss out on a big chunk of gaming with them. While it's entirely possible to just play a different toon to help the guild progress through your deity's raid zone then catch up at the next tier or whatever with YOUR toon, that's a path best left untrod.

Enthann used to be the primo rogue diety b/c you could easily max your chaotic points and still raid his zone, and the aug gave you a little worn attack leeway on itemization. (Was also nice having the enthann gate neck on my scummy alt to beat all the other scummy alts to the free raid spot killing orcs in cauldron, but that's a whole nother story)

Tarhyl used to be the ABSOLUTELY NOT rogue deity b/c you would miss out on Stoneculler (I still hate you torick) and Flarewynd and ToT used to house some end-game items and deep First Ruins is a choice xp/farming area. Now all of those items are very replaceable with the exception of the clicky on Flarewynd, which isn't a huge deal regardless, and there are plenty of other xp zones that are just as good as bloodfires in ToT. (I could be wrong on this but I believe you can still do the Eternal Well if you are pledged to Tarhyl, if someone could confirm/deny, then if someone else could kindly make it a moot point at the tip of Tarutao's content-skipping-spear)

The big criteria I'd look at (in no particular order) are 1) How bad will I miss raiding that zone, 2) How helpful is the aug, 3) How helpful is the gate neck, and 4) How likely am I to max my deity spec bonus

tl;dr: If you plan on raiding, join and decide you're stayin in an established guild before you pledge, if you don't plan on raiding, pledge anyone but Tarhansar b/c he's gay as aids

Greatly good and neutral I think would put you as Sihalah or what ever the nature god.

You tripping, Sihala is LAWFUL NEUTRAL.

As a CoI member, you should go Althuna (LAWFUL GOOD), Jayla (NEUTRAL GOOD) or Tarhansar (CHAOTIC GOOD).

Looking at aug quality/completion state, I'd advise Althuna - Jayla aug simply pales compared to it, and Trahansar aug, allthough likely ending about on-par, is not yet finally implemented and sits at ~jayla aug quality for the time being.

So Enthann would not be good to do, cant you raid any zone with him. What zones can't you kill in or raid in with Althuna.

Althuna Limits you from Comercy T4-T6/7 Ish. I find this zone to be a lot of fun to raid not many people do it though.

Enthann lets you raid his zones he likes the challenge.

City of Mercy.

Pledging enthatnn would allow you to raid everywhere (Enthann encourages his followers to test themselfs in his trials). Due to the fact that you don't loose any raiding oppurtunity, the aug is considerably weaker then most augs though, and with you being pigeonholed into a good alignment by CoI, I can't really advise pledging to a chaotic neutral god.

So what should be the best to pick Althuna or Jayla. Which would be the easiest to get quest done to get to the 20%. I have never picked any God on any toons i have, never really understood much about them.
Thanks for all y'all help.

Personally I'd pick Althuna. Maxing your speciallisation might be a tad harder since you would actually have to look for lawful hits (plenty of them in ikkisith) opposed to just autopiloting to max good via CoI quests, but in the long run, the better aug is well worth the extra effort.

I agree; I ended up doing Althuna and COI on my monk/shaman combo. At 42 I was able to duo up to the 2nd level of the aug (Sgt. Magor's Insignia) with only a little help from my 65 for taking out the ghost in mielB. For lawful hits before Ikisith I have done oggok mines (keeper vaj's quest), answer seeker Rizze's questions, and reject Marltar Crow's bribe. So far I'm at Deeply Lawful/Deeply Good with a 13% spec bonus after finishing the heartlands part of COI.

Thanks for all the help, but putting the diety thing on hold right now. My guild last night went to crap.

I'm at Nuetral,Greatly Good. What is the highest level of good, deeply, greatly, highly? And does that same thing follow for the rest like Lawful,Evil, ect.
