As I started running out of interesting AAs to purchase, I decided to pick up Deflect. After all, it cost only a couple of AAs and it sounded like a decent emergency click.
For those who don't know, the AA is a small radius PBAoE Greater Concussion (-1,000 hate, unresistable, as with many AAs) usable every 8 minutes, with a small knockback thrown in. Basically, it's an emergency click for when you accidentally pull aggro and may not have time to cast the spell itself.
First, I'd like to say that the effect, with the knockback and all, does look pretty nice when used properly. The mobs are thrown back a short ways with shiny red particle effects and start beating on other people. The knockback, however, is something of a problem. Many raid zones, especially the planes, disallow any sort of knockback. As has been mentioned before, this causes Deflect to not function at all in the zone.
Unless this is an intended limitation on the spell, which could be possible, I, for one, would gladly trade this admittedly cool knockback for the option to use it in more zones. Would this be feasible or is it, as speculated, an intentional limitation?
