Death save?

Greetings,

I'm new to SoD so apologies if this question has been asked 100 times, but a search of the forums did not produce anything.

Can someone please explain to me exactly what "Innate Death Save" and "+15% Death Save Spell Effect" do? I'm gathering it's got something to do with death prevention, but can someone give me a more detailed explanation? That would be great.

the way wiz has done it apeares to be like this. lets say you have 130hp left and the mob hits for 134+ his first "hit" wont be registerd giveing you your normal chances to dodage ripost so forth to kickin long enugh for a healer to heal ya. most of the time it isnt long enugh to help if your alrdy there
