Dawn Shards gathering

i do not know about any others who have done the quest for the Amice of Golden Dawn but i can clearly say that i dislike trying to gather the shards only to find that they have already been taken and have to wait a whole game day (6 hours) for them to respawn for my character. im not sure if they take that long to respawn but i know it isnt short cause i sat around waiting for one in several places to no avail.

so my suggestion is to shorten on repsawn for said shards all over dalaya to ease future pains for others.

Thats still way to darn long. Especially since i stayed on ALL DAY waiting on four of them to respawn and got 3 out of the four because someone more than likely took the 4th and the final one which i went through the trouble of trying to get an invis and port to the area and ran like hell to get to the one in kedge only to find it was gone, though it was there earlier when i tried to get without invis.
needless to say this is very frustrating especially with the recent influx of people all trying to do the quest now.
 
Having just gone through this, I agree with Neodiahs. I ended up just biting the bullet and spending a few hours at a time collecting the pieces over the course of several nights. I've got them all except for Cauldron now (thanks to the person who clued me in to the Kaezulian/groundspawn issue, and a :raspberry: to the person who told me they got the piece while Cauldron was still under Kaezulian control).

Wondering if the recent 2x xp brought on a glut of lvl 55-60ish toons looking at doing this quest.

Unless the long timer serves some purpose, lore-wise or something else, a lower spawn time would be a nice thing. Barring any changes to the timer, I suppose it's a good excuse to work your fishing skill-ups!
 
this is seriously getting out of hand. there are like 40 people waiting in line for the container shard in cauldron. the spawn time needs to be decreased direly. someone answer my prayers!
