Cyrtho Malath Question

limitedthoughts

Dalayan Adventurer
What level does Cyrtho Malath 1 start at. It says 50 and I know most stuff does not summon. Does that mean it is between 51 and 53 for most starting mobs?

I wouldn't go there before level 60 myself. Unless your with a bunch of other high levels.

Don't know exactly what level the mobs are, though.

I haven't been there a ton, but the few times I've been there an average group of 60s were getting downed. Our tank was dropping, healers were always low on mana, and I had to tank when our tanks would drop. I have had a few guild groups that tore through that place though.

I would say
Cmal 1 55+ group
cmal 2 60+ group
cmal 3 65+
Cmal 3.2 65+ raid geared
cmal 4 noone but forsaken.

Minimum level to start Cmal1 is 50 and it ramps all the way up to 65 with 200+ AA's and top tier raid gear required.

Running all the way through Cmal's sections for the first time with a perma-group is a one of a kind thing. It's a brilliantly thought out and executed zone.

Try 65 and 400+ AA's, and when he says top tier raid gear, he doesn't mean a few pieces. Cmal 4 requires every char to be decked in the best raid gear attainable, I don't think 4-2 was downed until ever char had 3+ pieces of IP loot per char.

You can easily hunt in cmal 1 at 50 (in a group), you might want to be higher if you attempt any bosses, though.

Thought you needed to be 55 to zone in anyway, at least you used to have to be..

Thanks everyone for the information. The only problem I have had is Cmal is allways occupied in the higher tiers from what ive seen and we all play once a week.

We have a pretty good group were all 51.

The cmal 3.2-4+ brings  up something I was wondering. Oftentimes, I've seen Linken, Ginam and the standard crew in cmal. I've wondered though, why? I can't help but think they don't need loot. They also have immense unspent AA's too. So I've curiously wondered what brings them back?

CMal4 is by far the hardest 1 group encounter in the game, and the loot shows it :)

Yes, the loots are upgrades for people who have access to Prison gear. That's why they're there! :)

also you can have people outside the zone but in the raid so even those who are classes unsuitable for the encounters they'd like loot from can still get it
