Custom UI

Okay. Like I said, I plan to test it and possibly make some modifications before it would be used as the default - just asking your permission in case.

Yeah it's perfectly fine by me and let me know what you think.

I currently use the hail to the king UI, but will definately replace it with this UI once all the kinks are worked out. It reminds me of httk only way sweeter. <3 the dragon book. A++ job piecing it together.

The 1280x1024 resolution works fine right now all you have to do is load and setup windows or rename a file to copy over your current character_ui settings if you don't feel like manually setting up the windows. Eventually I'll add a 1024x768 resolution version as well, but that might take a week or two before I get that up since it's not high on my priority list right this second. I've been using the 1280x1024 for about about half a week now and haven't found any vital problems with it I originally had to flip the chat and hot bar windows, but after fixing that minor flaw it's been working perfectly fine here. Oh and by the way the dragon eyes on the book blink which is pretty cool.

This looks really sweet. We have a few custom UIs (WoW UI too), perhaps it's time to make a list of all of them.

I'm currently using the unmodified d2 ui. Do you know how to remove the Unknown Spell tag for unused song slots? (look at the picture to see an example)

I'm not really sure how to get rid of the text for unused spell slots Bernat. Someone who know enough about XML might be able to modify that out though. So far I've liked my UI overall after using it for week or two now. Some of the things I really enjoy about compared to the standard prebuilt EQ UI are the following.

1) smaller buffs and buff name text
2) spell book a lot looks cooler overall
3) breath gage looks cooler as well and still manages to fit the globe/sphere them the UI happens to follow
4) target window is extra big compared to the regular ui one and also has a built in casting meter and mob con
5) HP/Mana gages are easy to see and read, but did take me a day or so to kind of fully adjust to them.
6) built in stats and resists window that manages to not really take up any significantly extra screen space
7) group windows are easy to and or target including pet health bars that normally are harder to target manually plus bars change colors during combat as a players life bar dips below certain percentages

With that said things that could be improved possibly by someone with the right know how
1) F1-F6 keys listed inside or in front of the sphere bubbles on group windows would be a good modification
2) What Bernat mentioned removing the text for unused spells wouldn't hurt either

Neither of the two said improvement features are vital or important really any way however if you play at said resolution it's really a quality interface

I have yet to find a way to remove the "Unknown Spell" label on the bard song window.
