Hey folks I've been messing around with a EQemu Server with a friend of mine. Its mostly Velious Era with a few custom features. The server is called A Quiet Place, and can be reached on the EQ Emu server list. Any one that jumps on we'll make you 46 and give you some pp's to get spells and some basic gear the rest is for you to farm. The DB has a few holes in it so its not perfect. Any one is welcome to come play with us.
No corpse run on death. But there is still an exp loss.
We are not quite sure where we are going with this server yet but if any one is interested in goofing around with us come on over!


A Quiet Place is a Custom EQ server dedicated to the fun of classic EQ without to much hardship. The server is run currently by Myself Drehar, and Drty. We are looking for more players and developers alike so stop on in and check us out.

Server Features:

Optional 46+ for planer gear progression.
Slightly boosted DPS for all classes.
2x EXP all the time.
Currently level 60 cap with AA's and Velious Content.
NO CORPSE RUNS, only EXP loss on death.

We just got the script working to start all new players at 46 with skills brought up as well. We are working on a Low end classic gear vender as well as auto scribe spells up to level 46.
 
What is the population like, and it this essentially like Live Game up to Velious? The start at level 46 feature seems interesting for a fun server.
 
The population is The lead Dev Myself and a few friends of ours. Its Stock EQ emu server files that we put some restrictions on to zones ect. We have a few ideas in mind where we want to go with the server. Since Kitties on the moon was a shit idea we might add some SoD like changes to our server.

When a player joins the server there is a code that levels them to 46 gives them spells to that level and sets skills higher. We are aming for Velious content raids with custom there after.
