Crystalline belt of the Wind

Saw this item drop today and was completely baffled as to why it is not bard useable, as it is useable by all plate melee classes as well as rangers/rogues. Since Bards are a plate class hybrid of warrior/rogue/enchanter, this puzzled me. Could bard be added to this item?

Crystalline Belt of the Wind

Shadownkights cannot use it, either. Paladins cannot use Vile Pauldrons of the Brute.

It's just the way it goes sometimes.

Hrm, let me post it instead of linking it, so it's more clear:

Garison's point still stands though, that some items aren't meant to be used by all classes. Just the way things go. There are plenty of other belts out there for bards.

Garison's point was that Shadowknights couldn't use it, so I couldn't use the "plate class" arguement. His argument was wrong, as per the info I posted.

Although I realize that not all items follow a set and intuitive ruleset concerning the types of classes grouped together for use (Zorez'ad, Puppet of the Father, anyone?) It is quite common for them to do so. I don't think it's entirely out of the question that bards might be able to use it, particularly given that all other melee plate classes can use, in addition to rogues and rangers.

Before anybody else posts "you should be happy with what you can get" replies, might I refer you to THIS post.

Sometimes a bard is pushed into the DPS category as well... you just have to flow with each time you are added and removed from an item due to its class layout.

Crystallie belt = chain and higher melee classes (except bard)
Woldaff's belt example = melee DPS classes

Hell, even Zoraz'Ad follows a ruleset (priest + bard because it's an instrument). The crystalline belt doesn't. Why not throw bard on it?

Merriam-Webster Online said:
Vile:
1 a : morally despicable or abhorrent <nothing is so vile as intellectual dishonesty> b : physically repulsive : FOUL <a vile slum>

Maybe its lore related, would actually be kind of cool if that went into those type of decisions though.
Either way, I think that its reasonable that bard be added :)
