Crash after login

I've been searching the forum and gone through dozens of threads yet I'm making very slow progress at making the game work. I have just solved the EULA bug but now....

After I type in my screen name and password the game crashes to windows and the threads I've read don't seem to have a solution to the problem, can anyone help?

try deleting files.txt and repatch all, mine does that from time to time, but usually after once it lets me in the secod time

You're talking to a noob here, I can't seem to find files.txt in my EQ folder. And search can't seem to locate it either.

you own titanium eq?? if so i dont know, i just know how to fix plat edition

Yeah I have titanium, can you play SoD with it?

you can, but have to do more to modify it, with plat all you have to do is install files and patcher and run, titanium...have no i dea but you can play, youll just have to wait for a reply from someone who knows

And when you read to step number 11, click the Advanced button, click the Repatch All button, then click Patch and Run.
