Content on Boats?

i really don't know what exactly to suggest that is feasible, but ANY content on a boat would be awesome.

I don't know how difficult it would be considering the boat itself is a moving NPC and I don't know if you can adhere a static NPC to it such as a merchant.

Something I have thought since my first boat ride from faydwer to freeport at lvl 12 was why there is a HUGE bar below decks, yet no bartenter. Having him sell alcohol and at the same time accept items for sale would save a stop for many people travelling.
 
Having a Merchant on the boats would be cool for sure.

Not sure if it's doable but would be cool.
 
OH MAN, how about Casinos!! that is right, you no longer take the boat because you want to travel from A to B, but you are actually taking the boat because you WANT to!

This is the greatest idea in the history of man.
 
The boats barely travel properly as it is, they are a challenge for the staff to just keep running from point A to B.

I'd assume finding a way to overcome the boats existing problems is going to have to happen before anything else would ever be done with them.

Or make it have a cool harpoon like from water world!! And then have depth charges that can fight off the gnomish submarines they could put in! Or maybe put a flight deck on top of it so we could buy airplanes or hot-air balloons and fly everywhere and then...

wow... so funny... thats actually pretty awesome idea... have a battle every time the boat goes... but no, too complicated

The casino idea was suggested one day in ooc but isnt feasible

merchant on the boat i would think to bee the easiest thing to do on the boat... although it may be a task. duty free alcohol! =P
