constant crashing

I've searched through the forums, and I can't seem to find an answer here.

I used to play on Winters Roar without any problems, but I'm not able to keep the game running for more than five minutes here on Dalaya.

Game crashes randomly, sometimes I can run around for a bit, but I always get the same error pop up.

I check the dbg.txt, and towards the end I see this -

I've deleted the default UI folder and repatched, didn't help.
I took off all the hi-res textures in the options even though I have 2 gigs of ram, that didn't help either.

I have no other programs running in the background, and no router/firewall or virus protection running.

any ideas?

...tried to edit where it says "used to play on"... that should say Shards of Dalaya.

(ok happened again, must be some kind of word filter/replacement thing)

So... I'm still having the same problem.
Now that someone was kind enough to retrieve my old account, I'm even more eager to get this fixed.

Does anyone have any ideas?
Is there more information that I should be providing?

Since I noticed the 5e error higher up in that dbg.txt file, I went ahead and tried the fixes listed in that thread as well, but the problem is still happening.

I know you said you repatched, but did you try clicking repatch all? I had what seems to be the exact same problem and ended up being forced to run the patcher program from my desktop (running it in my EQ folder is caused it to crash after clicking repatch all, although this was possibly an unrelated issue).

Don't know if this will help you but you could try doing this if nothing else has helped.

Or it didn't fix it for me, although it did seem to make crashes less frequent.

My error message differs slightly from yours but falls very much into the same category I suppose.

Crash is random as you've stated above, but (so far) has had a tendency to occur more frequently in zones with 6 or more people, although it has happened when i've been in a zone by myself twice. The crash can occur while loading between zoning and also just while sitting down doing nothing (not touching the cursor or keyboard, etc).

By the way, I know both of our crash data logs show that the crashes happened in 'qeynos' but, i've crashed in numerous other zones as well (SK, Elds, PoV, NNP, SNP to name a few). So it's not specifically qeynos that is the problem.

Edit: I also noticed that in fluffy's logs the same thing occurs further up...

I was playing saturday fine, then when i log in sunday, I am constantly getting this error. I repached, all, reinstalled, and even reformated the HD with new fresh windows install with all the updates. I dont know whats going on, anybody know a fix?

updated graphics card

, made me last like 5 seconds long

then i decided to change the screen resolution of my desktop to 1900x1600

fixed it, lol

and also made my graphics card go on extreme performance

Hi, I was browsing through the above posts, and I see what appears to be the exact same problem judging by the dbg.txt file. What mine follow's that up with is the screen flickers black/grey back in forth for a few moments and then the computer pops back to desktop and my display is like, color inverted, and 640x480 res.

I don't think my card is failing, it's an nvidia 7300gt 512mb card, less than a year old. And everything is fine, no glitching at all, just crash and then screwy screen.

A reboot fixes all, and then I go through the same when I log back in. I noticed also that it on occasion will simply crash back to desktop with no problems while loading the character from log on.

So far, I've updated my graphics card.
Used the discs to repair/reload EQT
Scanned for virus/spyware that may be involved(Found nothing)
Checked the video card temp - 125-135F During play, 115-120F during idle
Checked the CPU temp - 120-145 during play, 105-120 during idle

I'm going now to do the repatch all gig. I never have good luck with the repatcher but I'm usually able to get it working correctly after several attempts.

Hopefully this will be the fix,
Please if any one has any further solutions to this problem feel free to share your knowledge.
