Client Crash when trying to enter world

I already have a few characters made and had logged on as recently as this morning but now whenever I try to log in at all, it even gives me a pop up asking me if I want to send the info about the crash to the developers and I click "no" since I highly doubt it would help :chuckles: The problem seems to have to do something with the graphics as when the characters are rotating sometimes they start flashing, bending and just generally looking weird, I am using the SoD patcher and launching from that so...the FAQ wasn't much help.

Do you have titanium? If not, what version do you have?

What kind machine do you have and how much memory.

What kind of video card do you have? Are you using the latest driver for it or an older one? (sometimes the latest ones won't work with this game.)

What zones are your characters in? When did you create your characters? If you go in and create a new character, does it do the same thing?

Yes I am using titanium, unpatched except for SoD patcher: fresh from the dusty box and all (I really don't like taking it from **** for a game thats as old as EQ is...)

bought less than half a year ago so its drivers are current. My main is in the Centaur Hills and the game wont even let me create a character, I'm going to try re-installing and re-patching to see if that fixes the problem, but if its something I have to do every two days I might just...pass on this whole thing, its really a very interesting project

Even creating a new character won't work?

Do you have a router? Did anything recently change with your router settings?

No, generally people don't have to mess with it every two days. I'm not sure what the point of your saying that was.
