just need some opinions on somthing with the cleric. so far, im level 50, and i have maxed out energy/defense and am currently working on blunt/avoidance. i have 175 offense and 175 defense, 1hb, and 120 dodge. i have tryed to raise this char to be able to take SOME hits if the occasion rises. i acually have taken dmg better than most warriors (up to like lv 30 or so). i also am working on making enough money to fully equip myself in ghost amror, seeing how it weighs nothing and i put all my beginning points into stamina (for taking hits) and int. im still a little green, but i have heard i am making a mistake. a friend of mine says i need to buy shadow silk armor for the mana, and max out focus/mind for the mana reduction. i am green to shards, but NOT to rpgs in the least. i dont see how this build could be a mistake b/c i dont want to die in 2 hits, and the ghost armor gives like 20 mana per piece, and alot more with augs. so what should i do guys? make a new cleric or what?

thanks!

Clerics shouldn't be tanking, tanks should be tanking. Your points spent in INT were wasted, clerics use wisdom to cast spells. As a cleric your most important stat is in fact your mana, although HP, AC and resists will keep you alive longer.

Healing aggro at the lower levels is pretty rough so the extra HP/AC/avoidance will definitely help. Clerics are WIS casters so INT is practically useless - increase WIS! At this point in the game get ANYTHING that will increase your base mana pool more (equip items and check Fomelo to see the mana increase) The more mana, the longer you will last keeping your group alive. Since you've gathered a good amount of defense, you'll still live if you start getting whacked on (low end war aggro weapons arent the greatest).

Once you start getting into a raiding guild - they will want you to focus on your mana and less on your HP/Defensive stats.

Specialization points is a think you dont need to worry about cause you can max em all out ( you gain 2 points for each 1 aa point earned). If you got the cash aim for Deepmetal or shadowsilk items that have the big mana stuff in it.

Putting all points into stamina isnt bad cause you can max out wisdom (355) with items and aas pretty easy (if you join a raiding guild that is ).
