First off this post is not in regards that charm is overpowered or underpowered

Ive noticed as a druid , that alot of the mob's within zones arent charmable , yes they are technically animals but no they are still uncharmable.

Specific exceptions i noted were , the corrupted animals of the badlands (assuming this applies in plaquelands too , not sure)

I see no reason a druid cant dominate the mind of a animal simply because its "corrupted" , whats it matter the mindset of the animal.

Another notice was the monsters in wyvernfang , no not the otters , not the wyverns, But rather the fish and sharks.

Im not sure if its all aquatic animals (I thought i could charm the pirhana's in blackburrow , not sure)

Another notice is to enchanters , in certain zones , like shrouded isles ; Yes i could see necromancers using charm here , im not sure if they can or not, however i do know that the enchanter advancement Dire Charm states they could charm Everything/anything, which would lead me to believe it was a issue in settings more then a intended design.

In SoD enchanters, unfortunately :), are not intended to charm undead.

I could see the reasoning behind this but on the topic of alot of animals being uncharmable.

Something to consider is that not everything is flagged as being charmable at all. For instance, as an enchanter, I can charm animals just as well as a druid. However, in dragon necropolis, I can't charm any of the insects (or other trash-tpye NPC) as they simply arent flagged to be charmed.

I see your point though, and it would be nice.

Corrupted is its own bodytype, the corrupted creature is not an animal anymore.
