Would it be way to much to ask for messages before charm breaks?
I think it would be neat to base these on charisma, or make them random, either way something allong these lines:
NPC begins to blink
This one would be the better one to get, it gives you 1 minute warning before charm will break.
NPC regains controll
This could be a less helpful warning. It would give you maybe 15 - 20 seconds of warning
The idea behind these is that with charm being so random, unless you do a short bout of kills and then recharm, exp is risky as an enchanter. At higher levels the only way to go for good exp is with mobs that are also higher level, and this means that they summon. I personally use a charm pet that summons and I do realize there is an exponentially larger risk involved in this type of exping...however, I would think a system like this would be anything but unbalancing. Should provide minor help so that enchanters/druids/necros can stay out of significant trouble. This could also possibly let us charm in groups...who knows
