character bugged after giving surname

When i gave my warrior, Faoth--lvl65 gnome with 104aa, a surname, he got bugged.

This happened before finals, and I've been preoccupied or would have posted ealier.

Now when i load to the character select screen, he has human graphic with gnome armor and crashes about 1 second after hes loaded in. I have repatched all and dont believe the problem is on my end. Same deal on multiple computers with multiple routers and different isp's, none of which i had problems with before giving my warrior a surname.

No other characters on that account or seperate accounts are having this problem.

At the char select screen, he is showing as a level 0 unknown--same as fomelo. The account name is Evilblink and i would appriciate any help.

Stope had this similar problem with his paladin Ringo after giving him a surname. I think he actually had to have his character rebuilt. Maybe him and the GMs who helped him could shed some light on this situation. Hopefully you can get your character back soon.
 
Yeah. he did.. for a short time the surname command completely corrupted the character it was used on, making it unplayable.

Posting this in staff to see what we can do about getting your toon restored

Could i please get an update on if my problem is getting looked into?

I posted this over a month ago and am curious to weather or not it can be fixed. Does he need to be "rebuilt" and what does that involve?

The break from eq was kind of nice, but id like to play a little here and there.
