Cease and Desist or Cease and Go on Vacation?

According to a Sony executive no cease and desist (C&D) was ever issued. I therefore made contact with the server host of WR, but I was told that they could not release any information about a private server. With the influx of new players, and thus a substantial increase in donations, a new server was supposedly ‘bought.’ A high level staff official on the WR team, who spoke to me and wished to remain unnamed, said that this server was never bought. He explained that the project leaders knew that one ‘box’ would not be enough to handle the new load of players. He also added that Wiz and his team were looking to “take a break,” and “get away from the mountains of code” that needed to be fixed. Hence the team decided to take a break from the game, shutting it down completely and living easy for a good chunk of the summer off of the game’s donations.

Ummmm summer's is more than half over... I swear, if people are going to try and sound official, at least get some decent writing and think ahead before posting some cock-n-bull garbage. Trolling is obviously something you don't do very welll...
 
let me start off by calling you a big huge idiot who wants to spread propaganda and you're probably one of the people who got banned from duping and using this as an excuse to push people away from donating money.

Second. i find it highly suspicious that you joined just recently with 1 post.

Third. its also very strange that all of your "contacts who wish to remain anonymous" sound suspicious as well

Fourth. i highly doubt that wiz would even leave "the mountain of code" because from what i see, Wiz seems to enjoy his creating of dawntide.

Lastly. im sure Wiz wont take a vacation with like 600$ of donation money, let alone ignore the consequences of wasting that money

This just in, a of slanderous rumor has just been started. It seems to be an attempt to discredited the staff of SoD and paint them to look greedy. No names or anything specific can be said though. All information is from anonymous sources.

Of course Wiz & friends just created this server as a top-secret and highly sneaky take all our money and use it to dominate the world scheme. Yeah right.

You know what, turd? Even IF they had some extra money left for a beer from donations, I'd say that's fine - for the server is running and we are all having fun - and everybody is off cheaper than with the corporate moloch in "that other other MMORPG".

The admins can easily compare the ip of the poster to other IPs on the board and in-game, I would assume. It would be quite interesting to know if this really is Zaira =)
 
Perhaps it's one of the 'Dupers' that got caught and banned, just trying to stir up trouble?? (posting from a different location maybe?) :eek:

That's only a bad attemtp to impersonate me while I try to sound "official", so I'd say it's someone who knows me pretty well... I think I know who's it, and, if that's the case, he's a sore loser. Where as Zaira's IRC info atm is .. : [email protected] * DALnet AS, MY, Kuala Lumpur

So in short Zaria is being made the butt of an attack from some lame a$$.
 
That original post is complete, utter bullshit and not true. And your also trying to impersonate Zaira and do a horrible job.
