Can't even press accept

;( Well. It looks like I might be screwed out of my old love EQ. I played a long while ago on the real servers :eek: Missed it so much and found a different route of playing. Well. Needless to say I dusted off the game box and poped the disks in (note: its only EQ:Trilogies which could be serving a problem there) Although I still wish to join your server and even though I followed the proceedure laid out for everyone I get stuck at the Accept terms and agreements screen. Just freezes there. Like stated before it might even be the cause of I don't have an up-to-date version of the game itself. If that is the problem then damn. If not...help will be needed.
 
I had this problem when I first started, here's what I did to fix it, and it only happened to me once in a while, alt + tab out to another window, like IE, My Computer, something like that, and the CLICK back into your EQ Window, that should give your mouse click function again. It only happened to me a few times, and that was because I was trying to use EQPlayNice which screwed me up since i was playing on a laptop. If you're not, try using EQW too, which you can enable/disable from the Advanced part of the patcher.
 
I can't get past the EULA/Seizure Warning screen!
a. Open up the patcher, select advanced -> Repatch all. You have to do this every single time you patch to live.
b. Try with both EQW enabled and disabled.
c. Try clicking the mouse randomly, and it might fix itself /shrug


If you have no tried these things already, you do not deserve help, since you obviously haven't tried searching, at all.
If you do not reattempt these, you do not deserve help.
If you have found these fixes, but do not wish to try them, due to laziness, you do not deserve help.

So, please, don't reply until you've tried/retried them.
 
i have tried these things and ive spent alot of time searching the forums and still really havent found anything. My appologies for the newb-ness of my post but i was frustrated yesterday when trying to get the game to work..im going to try and re-installing when i get home today to see if that works. hopefully.
 
Ive been getting this same problem, tried patching everything. Short from just running the Everquest.exe nothing works, it looks like there is a brack in the program. you can even move the beta window around with having the other be fullscrean. I noticed that I can click on the things on my desktop right through the "Accept button" very odd bug. I have a Dual screen setup, X800 ATI, nothing to great any ideas?
 
With the client window in focus hit TAB once and hit ENTER ... that should work if the mouse doesn't seem to work in the window.
