can't download patcher

every time i try to download the patcher, firefox (and IE) starts opening tab after tab after tab. last time i did it, it got up to 387 tabs before i restarted my computer
any help would be greatly appreciated

Erh that seems to be a problem on your side. Do a virus scan and clean adware.

Possibly update your firefox.
