Can pets use NO DROP items?

Pets rarely even seem to die from melee in my experience, AOE...are normally to blame.

Fixing this problem is way more important than worrying about the NO DROP stuff. Even with CH7 pets die constantly to AEs. Druid, shaman, familiars, etc. all have the same problem. Even in non-raid content like farming BQ the stupid pets die all the time. Honestly, it sucks and it is frustrating as fuck. Pets need to have way better survivability to AEs.

I'm against a static inventory. Way too unbalanced. Pets are disposable.

As for the NO DROP flag argument, I wish you had chosen a different way to differentiate what pets can and cannot use. Pets and their inventory are disposable anyway. It's cool to have a cool uber pet for a little while. At one point, my air pet had a full set of plate armor from drops. Then I got the next level of pet. Oh well.

RE: Accidentally giving a NO DROP weapon to your pet. SoD is "use at your own risk" and that's why I'm here and not over playing Warcraft or the retail game. I personally think this argument is weak sauce.


I hear your argument for 1000 ac weapons however. That's a cool bit of gameplay. Shame there wasn't a different flag you could use, like class or race.

There already is, just set level req of 68 on them. No pets of that level, that I am aware of. (or set to 70 then). The mobs still could, but pets wouldn't be able to. Or set them race: none, class: zerk.

mage and beastlord runic 2 pets are only like level 55-57 iirc.... maybe those pets should be a higher level since they are such higher tier. who knows.

I feel like the trade/cancel button is the confirm window for that... that is all i meant in my post.

I don't think this is a big issue either way, just a little quirk that would add a fun-factor for rotting raid loot. I don't think anyone would backfarm content just for pet items that will poof when they die.

the very last Quality Preowned Bots raid was for animation blades... One for me and one for nubbinz.

To be fair tho, it was my life goal to have a huge supply of them at that point. Wasted A LOT of money buying them too. Also it's not like we didn't get toons in for the rot gear...
