Wiz
NOT DONATING *EVER*
Hello, all. I was recently informed by one of my advisors that there has been some confusion and misunderstandings, most recently with the removal of being able to use a non-KOS mage to CoH people into Storm's Eye and Dragonhorn Keep.
In the interest of public education, the People's Republic of Dalaya has thus prepared and published for your benefit the following leaflet: Bypassing Content, and YOU.
Bypassing Content, and YOU by Chairman Wiz.
Today, we are going to meet our friend Linken, as he encounters a dilemma. Linken is a warrior in Legacy, and a fine young man, but sometimes he gets a little confused.
Such as today. Linken has encountered an ORC guarding the gate to the juicy boss monster that he wants to kill. Ordinarily, Linken might decide to kill this orc, but today, Linken is feeling lazy. "If only there was a way to bypass this orc without killing it!" Linken thinks to himself. And then, he gets an idea!
"What if I walk on my head?" Linken thinks. "Perhaps the orc will not take notice of me?"
Success! The Orc has failed to notice Linken, whose way to the juicy loots is now completely open. But wait. Why would an orc not notice him simply because he was walking on his head? This seems wrong.
That's because it IS wrong, Linken. What you did was bypass content, and that's a very bad thing to do. Bypassing content will make Wiz mad at you. This is what Wiz looks like when he is mad:
Oops! Wrong picture! Still, he looked quite mad, didn't he? You see, Linken, when Wiz gets mad he takes things away. Like that hammer you just got from the boss that the orc was guarding?
"But", you say, "that doesn't sound fair. What about last week, when Linken avoided another orc to get his sword? Why does he still have his sword?"
Ah, a good question, but it's not the same. Let's take a look back to last week.
You see, the orc from last week wasn't actually supposed to be an absolute obstacle. It was kind of just hanging around the area, and there certainly isn't anything game mechanic breaking about walking past when a mob is somewhere else!
So, do you understand now, little Linken?
Good! Then you know what to do!
Remember, kids: Be cool. Kill orcs.
